Using NetChanger - Create a New Configuration |
When the program gets started, it shows all configurations available in the list. The list is empty for the first use, and you could create configurations now.
Click new button on the toolbar and New Configuration dialog box shows up.

In New Configuration dialog box, you can set the operation and the settings for each network connection.
Keep on : Do NOT change the network connection settings.
Disable : Disable the network connection.
Custom : Configure the network connection in detail.
Select one connection, click custom to configure network settings.

NetChanger supports the multiple addresses including IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS servers. Separate each addresses with a comma (",").
Netchanger can change adapter's MAC address without reboot. Select default to restore MAC address to original hardware settings.
Use the same proxy server for all the protocols :

Use the different proxy server for each protocols :
ftp=192.168.0.1:80; gopher = 192.168.0.5:80; http=192.168.0.2:80;https=192.168.0.7:79;socks=192.168.0.8:808
PS:The Internet Explorer supports proxy of 5 protocols, such as ftp, gopher, http, https, socks.
When you double click the textbox of IP address, the default IP address that you have saved in options dialog box will be filled in the textbox. This method also applies to the subnet mask ,default gateway and the DNS servers.
PS: After you fill in the IP address textbox and select the subnet mask textbox, the default subnet mask will be filled in the textbox automatically.
When you click the Current on New Configuration dialog box, the current settings of the IP address(Default gateway, DNS Server,MAC address,Proxy) will be load.
When you finish the configuration,press OK, Save the configuration dialog box appears.

Give the configuration a name and click Save,the configuration will be saved.
